These Terms govern access to and use of our website, tenant verification services, landlord resources, document templates, subscription services, directories, software tools, communications, and all related services. SecureRent CMR is a technology platform providing: tenant verification, document verification, identity verification, employment verification, rental reference verification, landlord resources, document templates, rental administration tools, and informational directories.
SecureRent CMR is NOT: a property manager, rent collection agency, insurer, guarantor, debt collector, law firm, government agency, or court.
A SecureRent Clearance Report represents our assessment based on information reasonably available at the time of verification. A report is NOT: a guarantee, an insurance policy, a prediction of future conduct, a promise of future employment, a promise that rent will always be paid, or a guarantee against fraud or property damage. All tenancy decisions remain solely the responsibility of the landlord.
Users agree to provide truthful information, submit authentic documents, keep contact information current, and comply with applicable laws. Users must not submit forged documents, impersonate others, interfere with platform security, or use reports for unlawful discrimination.
Subscription Policy: Premium Protection fees cover one full year from the date of payment. This fee is non-refundable 3 days after activation. Subscriptions do not renew automatically; you will receive a notification 14 days before expiration. If we discontinue the service, active subscribers will receive a proportional refund for unused months.
Payments are processed exclusively through approved third-party payment providers. SecureRent CMR does not store, access, or handle users' mobile money PINs, bank passwords, or sensitive financial credentials. Issues regarding failed transactions remain the sole responsibility of the respective payment provider unless caused by a direct platform error.
By submitting an application, users authorize SecureRent CMR to verify the provided information by contacting employers, previous landlords, professional references, and other contacts voluntarily submitted. Verification is strictly limited to information necessary to provide the requested service.
Landlords submitting data to our Defaulters Registry swear that all information is truthful and supported by authentic records. SecureRent CMR reserves the right to:
Individuals may request the correction, review, or removal of their data by submitting a formal request accompanied by satisfactory evidence to support their claim.
All content on this website, including logos, software, databases, reports, document templates, graphics, and branding, is the exclusive property of Secure Rent Global Group unless otherwise stated. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the services for their intended purpose only. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
Users must not engage in any activity that interferes with platform integrity, including but not limited to: hacking, data scraping, use of automated bots, reverse engineering, phishing, distribution of malware, unauthorized resale of reports, or unauthorized copying of templates.
Our platform integrates services from third-party providers including payment processors, WhatsApp, Google Maps, cloud hosting infrastructure, and professional contractors. SecureRent CMR does not control, and is not responsible for, the privacy practices or operational performance of these third-party services.

We are not responsible for any legal costs or damages arising from independent disputes between landlords and tenants. Nothing in these Terms shall limit liability where the law strictly prohibits such limitation.
By using this platform, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SecureRent CMR and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from: 1) any false or inaccurate information you submit; 2) fraudulent activities; 3) misuse of the platform or reports; or 4) any breach of these Terms of Service.
SecureRent CMR reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate accounts, reports, memberships, or services without prior notice in the event that fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity is suspected.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Fako Division.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our platform following the posting of changes constitutes your full acceptance of the updated Terms.

SecureRent Clearance Reports are designed to reduce uncertainty in the rental application process. They do not eliminate risk, guarantee tenant performance, or ensure that a property transaction will be successful.
The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Temporary service outages, maintenance periods, or technical limitations may occur, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted platform access.
SecureRent CMR shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet failures, power outages, natural disasters, government actions, labor strikes, or cyberattacks.
